The Entertainment Capital of the World

With the Pound so strong against the Dollar, what better time to visit the U.S.A!

Although the variety and options within the States are vast if you are considering a short break this autumn or would like a longer break with a bit of variety then Las Vegas is the place to go.

The town that never sleeps invites you to join its lavish stage shows, star-studded entertainment, dazzling casinos and magnificent restaurants. Las Vegas has a style of it’s own with stunning hotels including the the Venetian hotel with its replica St Mark’s Square and canal system, and the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas with its opulent furnishings and priceless artworks, such as Picasso, Renoir and Van Gogh!

An ever-changing fantasy land of a city, it has seen unbelievable expansion since it emerged from the Nevada Desert 100 years ago. Some say that in Las Vegas there is no day or night – only round the clock excitement. It’s hard to argue when you consider that the biggest stars in the world perform there daily (and nightly) as well as the extravagant stage shows and world-class boxing events that are a Las Vegas trademark.

Although famous for gaming and top star entertainment what you may not know is how much of a world class golfing city it has become. There are more than 60 golf courses in the Vegas area designed by golf luminaries.

If you want extend your trip a little longer how about a spectacular Helicopter Flight to see the historic Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and then descend 1,500 ft into the Majestic Grand Canyon itself and marvel at its towering geological rock formations. Either fly back to Vegas or choose to stay with the Cowboys for a few days. Step back in time on guided horseback rides. Board an authentic horse drawn wagon for a journey on the historic Joshua Tree-lined Mormon Trail and spend the evening in romantic privacy or join the Cowboys singing campfire songs under the stars.

In its own way, Vegas is every bit as amazing as the nearby Grand Canyon, and every bit as much a must-see. It's one of the Seven Wonders of the Artificial World. And everyone should experience it at least once -- you might find yourself coming back for more.
